AmInvestment Launched Property Fund To Invest In Properties & REIT

APPE, which would invest in the Henderson Horizon Asia-Pacific Property Equities Fund, was suitable for investors seeking exposure to Asia-Pacific property companies and real estate investment trusts (REIT) as part of their balanced portfolio;
- “The APPE would be participating in investment opportunities in emerging and mature property markets across the Asia-Pacific region, and the fund investment strategy is a return approach that combines dividend income with capital growth;
- Henderson has a long established independent global asset management since 1934 with US$116bil of assets under its management. We encourage investors to trust these fund management experts instead of trying to take matters into their own hands;
- APPE was starting with a fund size of 150 million units at RM1 each, with a minimum investment of RM1,000;
- The fund will be sold via several channels, including AmBank’s branches and agents, as well as approved institutional unit trust agents such as Citibank, UOB Bank and CIMB Private Banking and
- APPE would invest in mature REIT markets like Japan, Singapore and Australia, as well as emerging ones like Malaysia and China.
