Assuming you the group treasurer, your management would like to gauge your performance on the area on foreign exchange management. So what are the factors to consider?
The factors to consider might include the following:
- Identification of the purpose of performance measurement;
- At what level should measurement take place;
- What activities should be measured? Should it transaction and/ translation exposure and control compliances;
- What benchmarks are appropriate?
- What the performance measures?
- Is it quantitative measures in absolute or relative terms? and /
- Qualitative measures such as accuracy of exposure forecasting, efficiency of deal execution and others
