Other Sources Of Information
Published by slang March 23rd, 2007 in ArticlesIf we really want to be an analyst or wanting to have a very “detailed” information of the company, merely analyzing the annual report of a company might not suffice.
Other sources of information are:
- company documents like promotional literature or brochures and catalogues which can give details of the products and prices and possibily little snippets of corporate history that can help make sense of the company’s current operations seek how competitive the company’s pricing & product specification against the competitors. Besides these we also normally would have receive company’s announcements say on interim results, takeover circulars, notices of annual general meeting and so on;
- company’s website;
- stock exchange’s website;
- newspapers, magazines, journals, newsletters,etc;
- brokers’ reports;
- market reports and survey;
- credit agencies and
- company visits and attending annual general meeting.
