Cavico Corporation, through backdoor listing, has become the first Vietnamese company listed on a US stock market.
Cavico merged with Agent 155 Media Group, a San Diego-based company. Since May 2006, under the stock code CVCP, Cavico has been the first Vietnamese company listed on the America Pink Sheets market.
The foreign listing has helped Cavico build a stronger trademark and win major contracts such as the Ban Ve Tunnel project and the Serepok hydroelectric project. — VNS
